Experience the Flybridge of a Super Yacht
The top deck flybridge of the EkoKat is simply enormous.
Normally you would only find this sized space onboard a 100-120 ft superyacht, but through a very clever concept revision and design, you can now sit back and relax on a simply enormous 50sqm panoramic and luxurious Sky Deck with an option for sunbeds, a sun pad, or a jacuzzi. It even comes with a superyacht dumb waiter food elevator!

Shielded from the sun's rays by a huge solar array roof, with retracting forward and aft sections to a provide sun worshippers with direct sun as and when they require it on both the forward sun pad and aft sunbeds, pad or jacuzzi. The EkoKat Sky Deck provides the most desired place to be on a yacht. Its forward sun pad is specifically positioned and raised 1.2 metres above the deck to allow guests to relax lying down whilst remaining out of the wind. When in the slightly sat-up position from the shoulders upwards, it then allows for absolute panoramic vision - a small thing, but a clear indication that EkoKat has been designed through actual experience at sea taking notice of all the little things that count.
A galley and sit-up bar offers day and night time dining opportunities with fridge and freezer/icemaker refrigeration, maker and we even provide a dumb waiter to ferry food and drinks from the main galley below ( have you ever seen a dumb waiter on any yacht under 100ft?). A full-service BBQ on the starboard side provides adequate facilities to cook efficiently for almost any sized group. Chose from your choice of freestanding sunbeds, a gigantic sun pad for at least 8 people or a sun pad and jacuzzi. Keep pinching yourself and remembering this is a 58ft yacht!
Convenience stairs provide instant, safe, and immediate access to the foredeck bow of the boat below, without the need to ascend the stairs to the cockpit and clamber alongside decks precariously while underway.
EkoKat achieves this astonishing-sized Flybridge (and salon below it ~ our Penthouse Apartment) by simply removing the side decks (completely absolutely unnecessary and potentially dangerous on a power catamaran, read more here)
This gains substantially greater space on both the main deck and flybridge above as can be clearly seen below.
Here is an classic example of a similar-sized power Catamaran (54ft) that utilises side decks - resulting in a salon and flybridge virtually 1/3rd the size of EkoKat.
Not only this but this yacht will cost you more than an EkoKat! The pictures speak for themselves!

The flybridge size is not the only benefit of removing the side decks as we will now see!
Comparison
EkoKat knows how important it is to have a nice and spacious bathroom on board a yacht, and additionally how important it is to look after your crew (if you have them)
Fortunately, because we have no bedrooms in the hulls we have used the space to position the bathrooms, toilets and crew cabins in both of the hulls resulting in super oversized room spaces, never usually found on yachts of this size. This presents yet another benefit. Not all yachts will operate with crew, or will maybe run with single crew.
Another reason our crew cabins are fitted out to a very high guest standard ~ they double up as guest single cabins, day-use cabins or even 'kids den' cabins!
