Why Ekokats have no bedrooms in the hulls

It is much nicer to enjoy a panoramic view from bed and have instant access to the fresh air at night.
Our beds can be much bigger and more comfortable and offer Televisions up to 55' in size.
Catamarans obviously have two hulls, and therefore unless the boat is extremely large, the bedrooms can never be particularly accommodating. Ekokat's main deck bedrooms are the size of a 100'+ superyacht. Those choosing a 3 cabin layout can enjoy a 7m (24ft) 25sqm (277sft) full beam master stateroom cabin with 180 degree panoramic windows

By creating space in the hulls from the lack of bedrooms we have been able to put oversized bathrooms and crew cabins in the hulls. There is nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle to squeeze into. Ekokat shower rooms are from 1-1.7m x 1m in size with rain showers. Plenty of space to enjoy an invigorating shower.
The cost of the yacht is significantly reduced as well making Ekokat incredible value when compared to other yachts it size. In fact we offer larger bedrooms than yachts of 70 and 80ft!
More room for batteries. The extra space in the hulls means we can fit 1 ton of lithium batteries comfortably on the boat to enable us to provide 100kwh of power to run the complete AC systems day and night.
Why has no one done this before?
Probably because nobody had the creativity to think to make dual use of the salon with electrically controlled walls that transform one space into two spaces! During the daytime, rarely will anybody go into the bedrooms down in the hulls, meaning they are generally not needed during the day. So why not utilize this same main-deck space for two purposes? With individually operated diving walls, it is still possible to activate one or two of the bedrooms in 'privacy mode' during the day if desired. So as long as the sofa beds are comfortable then have the best of both worlds!
Luxury Beds
A good night's sleep is essential. At 1st glance, the idea of a sofa bed may not create the vision of super comfort. Do not be fooled. EkoKat has created and custom-manufactured its own special, electrically converting, and ultra-luxurious sofa bed. Not to be confused with regular sofa beds! At the press of a button on the ipad, the sofa converts to a Queen or King-size bed with 25cm luxury mattress with 10cm of high-grade orthopedic memory foam. With the highest quality fine-count Egyptian cotton fitted sheets and bedding, we have re-defined luxury beds on board yachts worthy of a 5-star hotel sleeping experience. They convert in minutes, a small time to wait for something that is far superior to any bed you would find in a conventional hull bedroom, and importantly on the main deck level with all the benefits this brings.
