Is It Time to Convert?

With greater space on board what would still stop a monohull owner from converting to a regular power catamaran?
This will often ultimately come down to performance, with monohull owners used to cruising at 20/21+ knots being an optimum speed. Whilst many monohulls can achieve more, fuel consumption is important to many, but more relevant maybe is comfort. Unless you are in a hurry to get somewhere, which isn’t what boating is about, 20/21 knots does appear to be the optimum cruising speed still allowing for guests to move around the yacht and wine and dine. There is enough exhilaration at this speed and intermittent bursts up to 25-27 knots is usually more than enough for most.
Heavy weight 60ft+ power catamarans cannot cruise at this speed and most are down at 11-12-13 knots, and this just does satisfy most monohull owners.
Why can EkoKat cruise at Monohull Speeds?
EkoKat and its proven performance hulls, do not require bedrooms and hence they are narrower and create less drag. Choose engine options from twin Yanmar 550's or Cummins 600's up to MAN 1200’s and even 1500’s making it the only 60ft+ luxury power catamaran to deliver post 20 knot cruising speeds and top speeds of 25-27 knots. Of course, you can cruise much slower and down at 10-13 knots if you wish (The 62s can achieve over 3500nm range), but if you want monohull performance you can have it with EkoKat and this gives us a significant edge over all other power catamaran brands

The commercial sports series, introduces SubKat which can carry 1 or 2 private U Boat Worx Nemo superyacht submarines, WaveKat carrying up to 5 electric jet skis and DiveKat is surely the best luxury liveaboard or day trip dive boat afloat, equally suitable for non-diving partners.
eVTOL Vertiport
EkoKat even has a concept Voyager without a roof that doubles as an marine e-VTOL Vertiport. We all know the speed at which eVTOLS are approaching into our every day lives, not only commercially but for private use.

Eko Express and Nautikat
EkoExpress with no flybridge can take 30-40 people in 1st class luxury as a transfer yacht, able to cruise at 25+ knots – perfect for the Maldives, Caribbean and similar destinations.
NautiKat on the other hand as an entertainment boat offers high end scale partying to rival any Beach Club. Both EkoCruisers are fully bespoke
HOW TO BUY
You can step into an EkoKat 62s Sport for as little as USD 2.69m and a Voyager 60w Widebody for as little as USD 2.98 million, literally half the price of competing 60ft Power catamarans. We also do not promote lead in prices that require you spend another 30-70% in options for what would be considered regular standard equipment (don't fall into that trap)
Our optional Yacht Management programmes means you do not need to lift a finger, everything is taken care of got you - just turn up and enjoy your yacht. Management services are bespoke and can be tailormade specifically to suit, available with or without crew.
For those that consider around 5 weeks is the most they will use their yacht, choose the EkoKat Fractional ownership programme. Effectively split the cost with 5 other people and pay from just USD450,000 to buy your share. Receive up to 5 weeks personal use and have your yacht fully maintained and managed for you. The yacht can be chartered when owners are not using it the income split used to offset management costs making buying an EkoKat a lot less to buy and run that you may have thought.
